Missionary News

Last Mile missionaries Stephen & Esther Fong (Montreal South Shore CAC) are back in Canada. Thank God that Lay Pastor Wing & Ann Sung (Ottawa CAC) have been sent on March 15 to continue serving the local Chinese church there. The Sungs plan to stay for six months in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Rev. Joseph and Helen Lee will be back to Canada on home assignment beginning in May 2006. Other than serving their cluster of churches in the Vancouver area, they will accept invitations to speak in other Chinese Alliance churches across Canada if their schedules allowed. The Lees may be contacted via email at jhlee@intelnet.net.gt.

Also, Rev. Manjohn and Christina Wong will be back to Canada for about 3 months of home assignment at the end of this year. They will be staying in the Greater Toronto Area and they are ready to accept speaking engagements. If any church would like to invite them to preach or share, please contact them by email at manjohnwong@yahoo.com.

Thank God for leading Mississauga CAC members Mr. Swiba Lepcha (a Chinese born in India) and his wife Brenda to Suriname in September for an 8-month volunteer mission term. Swiba works among the Hindustani and his wife Brenda helps with the Mandarin ministry. The first groups of ten Hindustani Alliance believers are being prepared for baptism. Please pray for Brenda’s health. The Lepchas will be returning to Canada in April.

Praise the Lord! Over 450 Chinese workers from mainland China came to the Lord during the Chinese New Year Celebration meeting in Dubai. Please remember them in prayer as follow-up ministries are being unfolded.
